Learn about Puget Sound’s animals and how people are affecting the Sound on Oct. 25 at Everett Community College.
WSU Snohomish County Extension Beach Watchers are presenting Sound Living, which features 18 different presentations in three different sessions.
David Dilgard, Everett Public Library history specialist, will present the keynote address, focusing on how the history of this area continues to shape how we interact with the land and waterways around us.
The 18 sessions include classes on sharks, sea star wasting disease, bald eagles, pollution, orcas and more.
Registration is $30 online ($20 for teachers, students and military personnel.) Online registration closes Oct. 18. Registration is also welcome at the door, but is $5 more.
