It’s like Oktoberfest just without the name.
The 38th annual Everett Sausage Festival, a family oriented fair centered around a Bavarian theme, kicks off Friday and runs through the weekend. There will be a traditional Bavarian food, beer and entertainment. Admission to the festival is free.
The Everett Sausage Festival is at Immaculate Conception/Our Lady of Perpetual Help School (2619 Cedar Ave., Everett) and runs from noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be a free shuttle bus running every 20 minutes from the south parking lot of the Everett Transit Station from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Beer and wine will be pouring in the Bavarian beer garden and the wine bar. The Bavarian Dinner Haus will serve a traditional Bavarian dinner and Xtreme Bingo runs nonstop from open until close. There will also be local entertainment showcased on the family stage, carnival rides and food booths.
The annual Everett Sausage Festival raffle drawing will be held on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in the family tent. The grand prize is $5,000, second prize is $2,000, third prize is $500 and fourth prize is $200. Raffle tickets are $2 at the raffle booth with all proceeds going to the ICOLPH School.
