The Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival is coming back to Leavenworth this January and the first batch of artists have just been released!
When you think of music festivals you tend to think of huge outdoor venues that hold thousands of people and camping while the people in the campsite next to you party all night long keeping you from sleep. Basically you think of the Gorge. For that reason, winter has never exactly been prime music festival season here in the Pacific Northwest. Timbrrr! is changing that.
By taking over the Leavenworth Festhalle, which is conveniently located in the middle of downtown Leavenworth (and surrounded by reasonably priced hotels), and organizing plenty of fun snow related daytime activities Timbrrr! has made winter an exciting time for a music festival.
The folks at Timbrrr! just announced the first round of artists who will play the festival taking place January 9-10, 2015. With bands like Red Fang, Deep Sea Diver and SISTERS, things are looking good. Tickets go on sale Oct. 21.
