On Monday, The Herald was once again taken to task for advocating weed, mopery and sliding off to the left. A letter writer from Mill Creek now vows to let this subscription lapse due to the printing of an editorial cartoon being mean to Fox News.
To those of us who understand what Faux News is, they cannot be kicked hard or often enough! Back in the 1970s, Roger Ailes wanted to set up a cable channel devoted to things slanted conservatively; this of course turned into Fox. Half truths, distortions and outright lies are part and parcel to the FNC — they even won a lawsuit to lie as they stated in court they are not a news organization but an entertainment channel. A lot of us are not amused.
As our only real local paper, thank you for covering all sides of the news.
