The Puget Sound Regional Council has come out with a cool new map.
The interactive tool maps each project on its Draft 2015-18 Regional Transportation Improvement Program list. Click on an area, and the project details and financial breakdown pop up.
There’s also a link to make a comment on a project. The public comment period for the Draft TIP runs through Oct. 30.
The TIP lists current transportation projects within King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The projects are funded with federal, state or local funds, including federal grants that are awarded and managed through Puget Sound Regional Council.
Among the Snohomish County projects listed is a nearly $1.4 million project to improve traffic signal timing and phasing on State Avenue in Marysville between First Street and 88th Street.
Peruse all the projects on the map and learn more at www.psrc.org.
