The Feast: This feast is calorie-free, but it’s jammed with music. The Fisherman’s Village Music Festival presents The Feast, a two-day festival at The Cannery in Everett, featuring 10 bands and plenty of local music. Bands play on Friday and Saturday. Get more info in our story here.
Batty: Learn the true stories about bats at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Northwest Stream Center in Everett. There will be live bats and photos of cool bats from all around the world. Get more info here.
Buggy: See more than 2,000 insect specimens from around the world, including butterflies, beetles, grasshoppers and bees, with entomologist Don Ehlen from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Everett Public Library’s Evergreen branch, 9512 Evergreen Way. Ages 4 and up. Free.
Tough: Check out motorcycle racers tackling dirt, sand, boulders, logs and water crossings on a motocross-style track. You don’t even have to risk rain. It’s inside Xfinity Arena in Everett. Practice and qualifying events are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The main event is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Get info and tickets here.
Swim: Forest Park Swim Center has Halloween fun from 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday. There will be pumpkin tosses, swimming, prizes and treats. Bring a donation for the food bank and you can swim for free. More info here.
Shiny: A motorcycle show is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday by Kroakers Bar in Everett. There will be more than 300 custom bikes on display. Get more info here.
