Regarding the letter on President Obama’s response to Ebola, “Obama the worst president ever”: The writer, Michael Mitchell, sure got that right when he stated that the Ebola problem is all Obama’s fault. I heard he was in Africa when the gentleman lied at the airport to get on the plane. From there he went straight to Dallas to make sure that the guy didn’t get treatment and the hospital sent him home. It gets much worse. When the gentleman returned two days later, Obama was there to oversee his treatment personally. Per his orders, the nurses didn’t need to be completely covered while treating the patient. To compound things even more, when the second nurse was running a slight fever he personally gave her permission to fly on a commercial airplane to Cleveland. What is next on his (Obama’s) list?
If the writer is a parent, does that make Obama responsible for what his (Mitchell’s) children do when they are adults? If the writer’s adult children decide to commit a crime does the make him responsible for what they decide to do?
Unfortunately, no one in D.C. is interested in working together and no one person can or should do it alone or take all the responsibility. The blame game solves nothing.
