Improve your paddling skills with a seminar on Nov. 1-2 in Seattle.
The Washington Water Trails Association is presenting the seminar, which features 24 classes. Topics include coastal navigation, capsize recovery, knot tying, photography, tides and currents, stroke techniques and more.
Along with the seminar, a used gear sale and swap is 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 1. The gear swap is free. From 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2, there will be a paddling film festival. Tickets are $15, or free if you register for the Nov. 2 seminar.
