Take two cups of quinoa and buckwheat flakes and call me in the morning: On the fourth-season premiere of “Web Therapy,” therapist Fiona Wallice (Lisa Kudrow) tackles her toughest case yet: a spiritual sage played by actress, crackpot diet promoter and multimillionaire lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow.
Spoiler alert: The character played by Paltrow turns out to be perfectly sane; Paltrow herself is nuts.
Moms tweaked off: After a Florida mother cranked up the pressure via an online petition, Toys R Us stopped selling action figures depicting brutal meth kingpin Walter White and other “Breaking Bad” characters.
The retailer says the products were aimed not at kids but at adult “collector customers.” The Buzz says that grown-ups who play with action figures might want to have a chat with a real-life version of the “Web Therapy” lady.
They’re not disgusting, they’re delicious: Moms boiled them to death back in the 1960s. But today’s hipster foodies cook Brussels sprouts in a multitude of savory ways.
But whether they’re roasted, sauteed or braised, Brussels sprouts will taste the same to most children (and grown-ups with children’s tastes): regurgitated.
