ARLINGTON — Led by a 22-kill, 22-dig performance from Kate Anderson, Lakewood rebounded from a two-game deficit to win three straight games and defeat South Whidbey in a Cascade Conference contest.
“It was really huge,” Lakewood head coach Tasha Kryger said of the comeback win. “Our teams are pretty evenly matched and it was a defensive battle the whole night. It went back and forth and it was a lot of momentum and mental toughness.”
Anne Madsen recorded 19 kills and 15 digs to lead the Falcons in the loss.
