SEATTLE — A standoff that began Thursday afternoon ended early Friday at a south Seattle home where officers arrested a 28-year-old man suspected in a shooting and stabbing.
Police were called to the home before 5 p.m. by a woman who said her boyfriend stabbed her in the shin. Officers recognized the name as the suspect in a shooting earlier in the day that wounded a man in the leg outside a Rainier Valley restaurant.
The man refused to come out. KIRO reported a SWAT team fired flash-bang and smoke grenades into the house about 2 a.m. Officers eventually found the man hiding in the attic.
KOMO News reported he also may be a suspect in a shooting earlier Thursday that wounded a man and woman at a Burien apartment.
