LAKEWOOD — State wildfire experts are wrapping up their investigation into the June 12 blaze that burned 38 acres in the Lakewood area.
The exact cause of the fire is undetermined, but “human factors” were believed to be involved, according to the state Department of Natural Resources.
The department has not released any other information about the investigation.
The fire threatened homes and filled the skies above north Snohomish County with a smoky haze that lingered for hours.
The fire started in a former logging area east of Warm Beach and north of Lake Goodwin, off Happy Hollow Road. No injuries were reported.
