FarmStrong grand opening: FarmStrong Brewing Company, a new brewery opened by former Skagit River Brewing head brewer Mike Armstrong and Todd Owsley, will host a grand opening party at noon on Sept. 19. There will be hourly drawings for T-shirts, food courtesy food trucks and plenty of beer. FarmStrong is located at 110 Stewart Rd., Mount Vernon.

Harvest Moon Festival: Enjoy cider, brews and blues Sept. 19 along the Skagit riverwalk in downtown Mount Vernon. The festival begins at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $25 at the door, and include two drink tokens. For more information, visit www.mountvernondowntown.org.

Carleton Farms Brewfest: The inaugural Carleton Farms Brewfest is noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27. There will be a beer and spirits tasting Saturday and a beer and wine tasting Sunday. Both days will feature a beer garden with beers from local breweries like Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing, and Marysville’s At Large Brewing and 5 Rights Brewing. All proceeds will go to Lake Stevens Food Bank. Tickets are $20 and include six tasting tokens and a tasting glass. For tickets and more information, visit Brewfest at Carleton Farms on Facebook.

Camano Island Oktoberfest: 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano Island. Tickets are $35 and are available at www.eventbrite.com or at 360-722-7811. Breweries at the event include Anacortes Brewing, Arlington’s Skookum Brewery and Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing. All proceeds from the event go to support the Stanwood-Camano Rotary Club.

Brew &Bluegrass: The fourth annual Brew &Bluegrass event is 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E Riverside Dr, Bothell. Three different bluegrass bands will provide the music and eight breweries, including Darrington’s River Time Brewing, and two wineries will be pouring drinks. All proceeds will go to Clothes For Kids, which provides school wardrobes for low-income students throughout Snohomish County. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for youth (ages 5 to 21). Children under 5 are free. Tickets include entrance, a commemorative mug and drink tickets for samples. Tickets will be available at the door $35 for adults. Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival: 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at Seattle Design Center, 5701 6th Ave S, Seattle. The Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival showcases a wide array of artisan and farmstead cheeses made in Washington. There will be beverages from breweries, including Diamond Knot, wineries and cideries to partner with the cheese. Tickets are $35 and $40 at the door, and include all cheese samples and three drink tickets. For more information, visit www.washingtonartisancheese.com.

Brews at the Zoo: 6 to 9 p.m., Oct. 1 at Woodland Park Zoo. Sample beers from more than 40 breweries, including local breweries Diamond Knot, American Brewing and Twelve Bar Brews, at the fifth annual Brews at the Zoo. Tickets are $30 and include seven tasting tokens. VIP tickets are $70 and include early entry and extra tasting tokens. Admission includes live animal encounters and music. Inland Northwest Craft Beer Festival: Oct 2 and 3, Avista Stadium in Spokane. The festival features 30 craft breweries pouring more than 100 beers. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Admission includes a commemorative tasting glass and six 5-ounces tasters.

Bier on the Pier: Bier on the Pier, Anacortes’ beer festival, is 5 p.m. Oct. 2 and noon Oct. 3 at 100 Commercial Ave., Anacortes. There will be 30 breweries and six cideries, including Edmonds’ American Brewing and Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing, on hand pouring tastes. There will be food vendors and live music. Tickets are $25, or $45 for both days, and include a commemorative glass and six taste tokens. For more information, visit www.anacortes.org/bier-on-the-pier.

Viking Fest and Pub Tour: The City of Arlington is hosting its first annual Viking Fest and Pub Tour Oct. 3. Enjoy plenty of family friendly events in the morning, including weapons demonstrations, tug of war and a kjott bread (pizza) eating contest. The pub tour begins at 4 p.m. Purchase a conquering map and visit Arlington pubs and breweries, including Bad Dog Distillery, Mirkwood &Shire Cafe and more to win prizes. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Whiskey Ridge Brewery, 116 E. 5th St., Arlington. The Pub Tour costs $5. For more information, visit arlingtonwa.org/events.

Pumpkin Fest: Didn’t get your tickets for Elysian Brewing’s Great Pumpkin Beer Fest? Everett’s Middleton Brewing has you covered. Middleton is hosting Pumpkin Fest! at noon Oct. 3 at its taproom, 607 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett. There will be 20 pumpkin beers on tap from Middleton, Whitewall Brewing, Lazy Boy Brewing and Sound to Summit Brewing. There will also be pumpkin carving and pumpkin pie. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and includes five tasting tokens and a tasting glass. For more information, visit www.middletonbrewing.net.

Beer in the Barn: The Beer in the Barn Craft Beer Festival is noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 at Thomas Family Farms, 9010 Marsh Road, Snohomish. More than 20 craft breweries from Oregon, California, Colorado and beyond will bring two beers each, with special beers tapped every hour. Pre-sale tickets are $15 and include a tasting stein and five tasting tickets (tickets are $20 at the door). A VIP ticket includes 15 tasting tickets is $35. Tickets can be purchased at beerinthebarn2015.brownpapertickets.com. There are also activities for kids, including a cow train, corn maze and pumpkin picking. Bothell Beer Festival: Enjoy the best of Bothell beer at the second annual Bothell Beer Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 17 in downtown Bothell between Main St. and 183rd St. There will be a number of breweries on hand, including Bothell breweries Foggy Noggin, Brickyard Brewing, Twelve Bar Brews and Triplehorn. There will also be food trucks and live music from The Dogtones, Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers and more. Brew on the Slough: The La Conner Beer Festival is 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 17 along the slough in La Conner. Walk the boardwalk and enjoy beers from 10 breweries, including Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewery. There will be tasting spots at businesses along 1st Street in La Conner, including La Conner Brewing Company and La Conner Sips. Tickets are $25 and include 10 tasting tokens. Snohomish Brewfest: The fifth annual Snohomish Brewfest is Oct. 23 and 24 at the Snohomish Events Center. The brewfest features some of the best beer from Snohomish County. General admission tickets are $30 or VIP tickets, which include admission to all three sessions, are $50. Admission includes a souvenir glass and five tasting tokens (10 for VIP).
