Sculptors Workshop holiday pottery show: The pottery cooperative’s 20 artists will be on hand from 1 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Dayton, Edmonds. The co-operative, with its 44-year history, offers a chance for people to buy some of their works. Co-op president Tina Carpenter also teaches classes at the Shack Arts Center in Everett. Other members Barbara Wyatt, Mike O’Day, Mary Ann Tokas/King, Jordana Rene, Julie Perrine and Terry Sonomore have had pieces accepted in various local juried art shows. A graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School, King is an established Northwest artist emerging on the national scene. A representational artist, she paints exclusively in oils with a strong influence of Russian Impressionism and a fondness for animals and the human form. Focus is on Signature Members Exhibition for the Northwest Watercolor Society, along with glass, ceramics, and turned wood by regional artists.

SugarShak by the Sea: This artisan co-op gallery offers an open house from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 22 and celebrates its grand opening Nov. 28 at 3710 W. Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. Skagit County

Rexville Grange Art Show: This fine arts and crafts gallery features a collection of work by 27 regional artists, including many from Snohomish County. The show continues 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 22 and 23 at 1929 Rexville Grange Road, Mount Vernon, east of La Conner behind Rexville Grocery. Among the Snohomish County artists are Marguerite Goff, Janet Hamilton and Lucinda Van Valkenburg. More information is on the Rexville Grange Art Show page on Facebook.

Museum of Northwest Art: 121 S. First St., La Conner; www.museumofnwart.org. A large group exhibition featuring work by 42 artists with ties to the Northwest region, Accreted Terrane explores processes of accumulation and erosion, dispersal and gathering. The passage of time is marked in a dazzling variety of ways, from layer upon layer of paint, to the archaeological exposure of 20th century artifacts, to the capture of hot-sculpted glass in the moment, to the interplay of light and shadow unfolding in a video loop. Through Jan. 4.

Island County

Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park: 2345 Blanche Way, Camano Island; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends, weekdays by appointment; 360-387-2759; www.matzkefineart.com. Matzke has 75 sculptures in the 10-acre park. The 24th Annual Small Works Show, “Honey, I Shrunk The Art,” features 40 artists working in glass, ceramics, sculptures and paintings. Blooms Winery Taste for Wine &Art: Annual Hundred Bucks Art Show through December. Artists include Kathleen Otley, Anna Davis, Anne Smidt, George Jennings, Janet Pheifer, Karen Leeds, Virginia Bloom and Marcy Johnson add to the mix. All art is $100 or less. Show runs November and December. Located at Bayview Corner, 5603 Bayview Road, Langley.
