Sculptors Workshop holiday pottery show: The pottery cooperative’s 20 artists will be on hand from 1 to 8 p.m. Nov. 21 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Dayton, Edmonds. The co-operative, with its 44-year history, offers a chance for people to buy some of their works. Co-op president Tina Carpenter also teaches classes at the Shack Arts Center in Everett. Other members Barbara Wyatt, Mike O’Day, Mary Ann Tokas/King, Jordana Rene, Julie Perrine and Terry Sonomore have had pieces accepted in various local juried art shows. Rexville Grange Art Show: This fine arts and crafts gallery features a collection of work by 27 regional artists, including many from Snohomish County. A large group exhibition featuring work by 42 artists with ties to the Northwest region, Accreted Terrane explores processes of accumulation and erosion, dispersal and gathering. The passage of time is marked in a dazzling variety of ways, from layer upon layer of paint, to the archaeological exposure of 20th century artifacts, to the capture of hot-sculpted glass in the moment, to the interplay of light and shadow unfolding in a video loop.
