SEATTLE — A Delta plane is being inspected at Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport after it was damaged by a ground vehicle Thursday morning.
Passengers on the flight bound for New York’s JFK Airport were shifted onto another plane and Delta spokesman Trebor Banstetter said they should face only about an hour delay.
Sea-Tac spokesman Perry Cooper said the flight was hit by a fuel hydrant truck, which pumps fuel from underground into the aircraft. He said the damage only appears cosmetic and no fuel was spilled.
