I would like to say thank you to the stores that are staying closed on Thanksgiving! I appreciate that they are putting families before profits. There is nothing more important than family and opening stores on holidays, any holiday, should cease. Remember you have 365 days after a holiday before it comes again, if you don’t have all you need for a specific day. Oh, well, do without, or substitute with what’s in your pantry. I will frequent the stores that put families above profit. Thank you!
I know I am dating myself when I say, “Growing up, stores were closed every Sunday, families gathered together, children played outdoors. There were no electronics, phones, tablets, etc. We used our imaginations and actually talked to each other-face to face not on a screen.” I feel sorry for those so connected to technology that they are missing out on the human part of life.
Thank you also to all the veterans, I appreciate their sacrifice and service to our country — God bless America.
