More than 620 guests attended the Providence General Foundation’s Festival of Trees Gala Dinner and Auction on Thursday evening in the Tulalip Resort Casino’s Orca Ballroom. More than $300,000 was raised during the event’s “Fund a Need” donations, which will support the new Providence Autism Center in Everett.
The foundation has not yet released the total raised from the festival that also includes an opening night party, public open house and Saturday’s Teddy Bear Breakfast. Earlier this week, Tina Gilson, the foundation’s director of annual giving, estimated this year’s festival would raise at least $650,000 for children’s services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
