SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man was injured after walking into traffic on Highway 9 and being struck by a car Saturday night.
The Washington State Patrol said the man, 44, was standing on the road three miles south of Snohomish about 8:15 p.m. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center. Information on his condition was not available as of Sunday evening.
The driver of the car that struck him, a Lake Stevens woman, 22, suffered minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.
Troopers said it is unknown why the man walked into the road. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
