SEATTLE — Several hundred demonstrators took to the streets outside CenturyLink Field before the Seahawks game to protest recent police killings of unarmed black men.
The Seattle Times says many held signs and chanted “Black lives matter, not just on the field” Sunday morning. Several dozen demonstrators lay down in the street outside the stadium.
The crowd marched from the stadium to City Hall, where they eventually dispersed Sunday afternoon.
Seattle police said the demonstration was peaceful and no arrests were made.
