TULALIP — Two fishermen in their early 30s were rescued Tuesday afternoon from the frigid waters of Possession Sound.
The pair were crab fishing when their skiff capsized about 600 yards off Priest Point.
They were pulling up a crab pot after 1 p.m. when a wave came up and over the gunwale, causing the vessel to take on water, according to Tulalip Police.
Tulalip Fish and Wildlife officers pulled both men from the water.
They were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for evaluation, though no injuries were reported.
