The final injury report for the week isn’t out quite yet, but Pete Carroll provided updates on the Seahawks’ injured players.
Both Max Unger and Russell Okung practiced Friday, and while Okung is good to go after missing last week’s game with a bruised lung, Unger (ankle) will likely be a game-day decision.
“We’ll see how that goes and we’ll take it one day at a time,” Carroll said. “…We’ll take Max’s situation one day at a time.”
Receiver Jermaine Kearse, who injured his hamstring last week, “will not make it,” Carroll said. “We’re going out list him as out. He pulled a hammy, it’s just not enough time to get back.”
On CB Tharold Simon, who left last week’s game with a shoulder injury, Carroll said, “practiced today, so if everything works out against tomorrow, then he could be available to us.”
WR Chris Matthews, who missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury, got some work in this week and “has a chance to be available also,” Carroll said.
On tight ends Tony Moeaki (shoulder) and Cooper Helfet (ribs), Carroll said, “Both guys practiced this week and made it through the week. They’re both banged up and we’ll see how that’s going to work out all the way up to game time.”
