Canyon Creek Cabinet appoints sales manager
Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Company announced the appointment of Jeff Meehan to their sales management team. The Pacific Northwest native will be responsible for direct sales and for leading the contractor sales division. For the last 14 years, Meehan has worked for several regional and national semi and custom cabinetry companies.
Everett Clinic Foundation gives $20,000 for Kids Cafe
The Boys &Girls Clubs of Snohomish County received a $20,000 grant from The Everett Clinic Foundation to execute the Kids Cafe program across the county. Through Kids Cafe, the clubs provide healthy, filling, hot snacks and meals to kids after school. The Boys &Girls Clubs of Snohomish County anticipates serving nearly 413,000 snacks and meals to kids across the county this year.

United Way offers free tax help
United Way of Snohomish County is once again offering free tax preparation at six sites in Everett, Lynnwood, Marysville and Monroe starting this week. Last year, trained volunteers prepared 3,489 tax returns and helped families claim upwards of $5.8 million in federal refunds.
