PORT ORCHARD — The 17-year-old driver in a Kitsap County crash that killed three high school classmates has pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide.
The Kitsap Sun reported that the teen entered his pleas Thursday in juvenile court
The car carrying the Olympic High School students left a road in Seabeck, hit a tree, rolled and landed upside down in a ditch Jan. 11.
Killed were Luther Stoudermire, 18; Kassidy Clark, 16; and Jenna Farley, 14.
The driver told sheriff’s deputies the four had been at a party and that he had smoked marijuana about an hour before the wreck. He said he was traveling about 75 mph in a 45-mph zone.
He has no criminal history.
Sentencing is scheduled Feb. 19.
