EDMONDS — A 72-year-old Edmonds man was booked in the Snohomish County Jail on Thursday for investigation of making threatening and harassing phone calls to a stranger.
The reason? A parking dispute, police say.
Another Edmonds man, 66, told police he’d received 11 harassing phone calls that escalated into threats of violence. The man feared for his life, got training on how to use a gun and was in the process of moving out of the area, Edmonds police Sgt. Mark Marsh said.
Detectives obtained a search warrant that allowed them to track the suspect to an internet phone account that allegedly was used to place the calls. He was arrested Thursday night.
