EVERETT — A 53-year-old Ferndale woman was critically injured Monday night after being struck by a car near Everett.
The incident was reported at 7:40 p.m. in the 200 block of 128th Street SW, while the victim was crossing the street, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. It’s not yet clear if the woman was in a crosswalk at the time.
The driver took off, possibly onto I-5. No description of the suspect or the car was provided Tuesday. The victim is receiving care at a Seattle hospital, Ireton said.
