EVERETT — Five people were taken to the hospital late Tuesday morning after a two-car crash in the 3400 block of Broadway.
All were treated and released at a local hospital.
The accident was reported around 11:10 a.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
Snell said the accident occurred when a minivan tried to pull out of a business parking lot to head northbound and was hit by a southbound passenger car.
The minivan rolled over, he said. All of the injured — a couple and their three children — were in the minivan. The children are ages 9, 4 and 3.
Broadway was closed in both directions while the crash was investigated and the mess removed. The road reopened before noon.
