I have heard altogether too much regarding “Deflategate.” Has anyone had the novel idea that the explanation of the loss of two pounds of air pressure in football has a simple, natural explanation?
The footballs are inflated in a building with room temperature near 70 degrees.
The footballs are then taken outdoors where the temperature is somewhere close to freezing. The lowering of the temperature will naturally lower air pressure in the football by approximately two pounds.
Where, therefore, is the conspiracy? Where is the crime? Where is the common sense?
