A day after Marshawn Lynch spent media day saying “I’m just here so I won’t get fined,” he had to sit in front of a huge throng of media again Wednesday, and again didn’t have much to say.
“Ain’t nothing changed from yesterday,” he said. “I’m still the same person I was yesterday, and I’ve got the same thing for you that I had yesterday.”
From that point on, Lynch answered every question, including a couple ridiculous ones like, “Marshawn, why do you have to be a jerk to all of us?” by saying, “You know why I’m here.”
He altered that slightly a couple times when asked if he had a message for fans, saying, “they know why I’m here.”
Asked what he would listen to before the game, Lynch said “It’s a new song,” then when asked who the new song was by, he said, “Marshawn. You know why I’m here.”
And that’s your recap of the second day of this silly situation.
