Your letter from Michael G. Reagan regarding Steve Bertrand left me speechless.(“Don’t forget tragedy in 1991.”) As no one held Mr. Bertrand responsible for the tragedy involving the two track students 24 years ago, I cannot imagine why he would bring it up now, much less why you would print it. I suppose it is possible that Mr. Reagan was related to one of the victims, hence his lack of compassion, but you, the editorial staff are supposed to “edit” this kind of drivel.
Are you that desperate for letters that you would publish this heartless, cruel and just downright mean nonsense? You folks are starting to look like the National Enquirer.
