Sno-Isle seeks sculpture for Camano library
Artists are invited to submit sculpture designs that would stand outside the north end of the new Camano Island Library. A renovation of the former Islander Restaurant at Terry’s Corner is scheduled to start by March, and the library there should be open by the end of the summer, according to the Sno-Isle Library District.
The Camano Island Library Art Committee is accepting sculpture design submissions until 4 p.m. March 2. Preference is given to artists from Camano Island or Stanwood, but anyone can apply. Details on how to submit a design and sculpture requirements are available online at www.sno-isle.org/camano-artists
