I’m hoping someone will write a letter giving me a good reason not to trap and take to the pound all the loose cats that come into my yard. I’m tired of them crapping in my flower beds and riling up my dogs. We have a fenced yard, front and back, and keep our dogs from roaming and doing their business on our neighbors’ yards. When dogs poop in someone’s yard, the owners are practically vilified, yet the cat owners tell me theirs are “outside” cats.
I really get a hoot when I see “lost cat” posters in the neighborhood. If they stayed inside, they probably wouldn’t be lost. Next time your cat goes “missing,” check the pound … if I’m not too busy, I might have dropped them off there!
