Two days after signing 11 players to future contracts, the Seahawks added one more, signing guard/center Jared Wheeler, according to his agent, Brett Tessler.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Wheeler, who went undrafted out of the University of Miami last year, spent time with Carolina and Buffalo in the preseason.
The Seahawks used four different centers in 2014 because of injuries, with each of them starting three or more games, so it’s no surprise they would look to bolster interior line depth this offseason.
