So the Seahawks ended up one yard shy of consecutive Super Bowl championships. A heartbreaking and crushing loss? Of course it was, but it is certainly not the end of the world. This organization is in fantastic shape, and should continue to be a perennial championship contender for at least the next few seasons. Besides Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Bobby Wagner, their core nucleus is locked up. Assuming they re-sign the three guys I just mentioned, and I think there is no way they don’t, it just adds to the core nucleus being retained.
I firmly believe this loss with make them stronger in the long run, and instead of feeling deflated, (no pun intended) I am more confident than ever. As our humble leader Russell Wilson says, Go Hawks!
