MUKILTEO — Police in Mukilteo are looking for help identifying a man who robbed a bank earlier this week.
The robbery occurred Monday in the 11700 block of Mukilteo Speedway.
A man walked into the bank and demanded money. He was described as being about 6 feet tall and having a medium build. He had short brown facial hair and wore a dark sweatshirt with the hood up, a dark baseball cap and tan cargo pants.
Writing on the sweatshirt said “Orange County Choppers” and there was an orange motorcycle on the chest. The suspect ran south.
A police dog was used in the search, but the suspect was not found.
A dark-colored vehicle was seen leaving the area, but it is not known if it was used to help the robber escape, Mukilteo police officer Colt Davis said.
The robbery may be linked to two holdups in Auburn last month. That man also wore a sweatshirt with “Orange County Choppers” on it.
Mukilteo police are working with the FBI.
Anyone with a tip about the case is asked to call 911.
