Prep girls basketball: Shorewood 54, Marysville Getchell 42

MARYSVILLE — Taryn Shelley scored 14 points and Lily Gustafson added 13 to lift Shorewood to a victory in a play-in game for the District 1 Class 3A tournament on Wednesday night.

Carley Wika led the Chargers with 10 points.

Shorewood is now the No. 8 seed at districts and advances to play top-seeded Arlington on Friday night.
