SULTAN — Tyler Morris scored a game-high 37 points to lead Sultan to a high scoring victory over Meridian in a loser-out game at the 1A Boys District 1 Tournament. Morris knocked down 13-of-14 free throws in the final quarter to ice the game and advance the Turks to Saturday’s 3rd/4th place game against Mount Baker.
As a team Sultan shot 12-for-18 on 3-pointers and scored 60 points in the second half. Kolton Anderson scored 17 points and Deion Bonilla added 15 for the Turks.
