Two people were killed and one injured Friday night in a shooting at an Everett house with a history of criminal activity.
A man was captured and arrested in Forest Park after a manhunt that brought out search helicopters and a SWAT team.
The suspect was booked into jail for investigation of two second-degree murder charges and one first-degree assault charge.
The shooting took place just after 7 p.m. Friday at a house in the 2400 block of 75th Street SE. Everett Police reported at 10:50 p.m. that night that two of the shooting victims had died.
The third victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center, said Officer Aaron Snell.
That victim’s condition was not available Saturday.
No identifying information of the two deceased victims has been released. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will establish the manner and cause of death.
The house where the shooting took place has been the scene of two previous homicides since 2008. In December, it was raided by the local auto theft task force, which found parts of at least 10 vehicles in the back yard.
Detectives served search warrants on the property and continued to investigate the shooting Saturday.
