Best of the Tips poll is on its way

After a one-year hiatus, the Tri-City Herald’s annual Best of the West poll is due out today. I haven’t seen the results yet, but for those who don’t know about the Best of the West, it’s a poll of the WHL’s Western Conference coaches, players and broadcasters about the conference’s standouts.

And the release of the Best of the West poll means it’s time for the annual Best of the Tips poll here on the blog. Here’s how it works. Over the next three days I’ll post several poll questions regarding Everett players. Some will be categories from the Best of the West, some will be my own (including a couple new ones this year). The polls will be open for one day, and I’ll include my vote in the comments section for each poll. Friday I’ll post the complete results. I also plan on making the Best of the Tips posts exempt from the paywall so there’s no disenfranchisement.
