“The Book of Negroes” is a six-part historical drama that tells the extraordinary story of Aminata Diallo (Aunjanue Ellis), an African woman who was sold into slavery, but never gave up the quest for freedom. Cuba Gooding Jr. and Louis Gossett Jr. also star. 8 p.m., BET
The Season 14 winner is declared on “The Celebrity Apprentice.” The prize? Donald Trump’s hairpiece goes to a charity of his or her choice. 8 p.m., NBC
“State of Affairs”: Season 1 (and, likely, the entire series) concludes. 10 p.m., NBC
