SEATTLE — Seattle police say intruders opened or tried to open unlocked doors or windows in three break-ins reported early Wednesday near the University of Washington campus.
Officers responded to 911 calls from a woman who awoke to find a man opening her bedroom door, two roommates who heard someone walking in their hallway, and a woman who said someone tried to remove a screen from her bedroom window.
Police believe the intruders fled without taking anything.
Detectives are reviewing whether the cases are related to other recent break-in in the University District.
