FERNDALE — A 31-7 first quarter helped boost Edmonds-Woodway past Ferndale in a 3A District 1 loser-out contest. Moni Jackson scored a game-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Warriors.
Missy Peterson and Natalie Kasper each scored 17 points, and Mady Burdett added 15 for the Warriors.
Edmonds-Woodway will face Arlington in a winner-to-state/loser-out game at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Jackson High School.
