ARLINGTON — Tylor Morton scored the game-winner for Arlington in double overtime of the 3A District 1 tournament loser-out game with a pull-up jumper from eight feet with 1.4 seconds remaining in the game. Ferndale called timeout to set up a play, but Austin Honeycutt’s shot from half court missed the mark as time expired.
Honeycutt led all scorers with 27 points. Arlington was led by Donovan Sellgren, who finished with 21. Drew Bryson also scored eight points and grabbed 17 rebounds for the Eagles.
Arlington will play Marysville Pilchuck at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday at Jackson High School in a winner-to-state/loser out game.
