MARYSVILLE — Marysville Pilchuck converted on 16 of its 22 free throws in the fourth quarter to hold on and earn a victory over Shorewood in a 3A District 1 loser-out matchup. Michael Painter scored a game-high 36 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, to lead the Tomahawks.
Marysville Pilchuck will face Arlington in a winner-to-state/loser out game at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Jackson High School.
