PARKLAND — The Pierce County sheriff’s office says a dispute between neighbors over noise at a Parkland apartment building ended in the stabbing death of a 50-year-old man and the arrest of a 21-year-old man for investigation of murder.
The News Tribune reported that neighbors called 911 late Monday night and officers found the victim dead and the suspect cleaning himself up in his apartment.
Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer says the fight started with a confrontation over a noisy argument and ended with the fight in the hallway.
A pocket knife was recovered from the suspect’s apartment.
