Learn Spanish for the health care workplace

Learn essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases common in the health care workplace in order to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients on a basic level. Snohomish Wine Festival on tap

The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce presents the sixth annual Snohomish Wine Festival on March 7. This year’s event will be held at the Snohomish Event Center, 1011 2nd St. in Snohomish. More than 20 wineries will be represented. Proceeds benefit the chamber. Tickets can be purchased online at www.snohowinefest.com

Red Cross, Premera to offer ‘Save-a-Life’ day

The American Red Cross and Premera Blue Cross have teamed up to host Save-a-Life Saturday 2015, a hands-only CPR training event that is free to the public. Save-a-Life 2015 sessions will be held at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. April 18 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.
