I’d like to send a huge “Thank you!” to all the people who joined us, and especially to the Everett businesses who participated in last weekend’s “Wine, Dine and Climb for the Cure” at Port Gardner Bay Winery, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Washington. Nearly $600 was raised that evening so we like to say thank you to Kama’aina Grindz on Colby for providing wonderful appetizers as well as a gift certificate for the silent auction, to The Hampton Inn for providing a one-night stay gift certificate for the auction, to Major League Pizza on Colby for providing two gift certificates for the auction, to the Everett Aquasox for providing four upper box tickets for the auction, to Peaceful Separations for financing the event, and last, but certainly not least, to Chris and Linnea Covington, owners of the Port Gardner Bay Winery at 2802 Rockefeller for hosting the event and donating so much to make sure it was successful! It was the best place ever to hold an event like this. We couldn’t have pulled this off without them. They are the two most wonderful people on the planet and we’re so very glad we know them!
Sincerely,
Gail and Greg Goetz
