SEATTLE — Kelsey Plum scored 22 points and was 10-for-10 from the free throw line, and Washington closed out the Pac-12 regular season with a 74-61 win over UCLA on Saturday.
Washington (22-8, 11-7) clinched a fifth-place finish with a win over USC Thursday and will play Utah or Arizona in a first-round tournament game Thursday. The Huskies won 20 games for the fourth straight year.
The Huskies led by four at intermission, but opened the second half on a 7-0 run bracketed by two Aminah Wiliams jumpers. Washington maintained a double-digit lead down the stretch.
Williams finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Talia Walton added 11 points, nine boards and blocked two shots, earning her the school record with 145.
Kari Korver scored 15 points to lead the Bruins (12-17, 8-10). The No. 6 seed into tournament, UCLA will play Utah or Arizona, who play Sunday, on Thursday.
