County spokeswoman named recognized by Leadership Snohomish County
Rebecca Hover, Leadership Snohomish County Signature Class of 2009, current board member and co-chair of the Alumni Committee, has been presented with Leadership Snohomish County Distinguished Alumni Award. Hover was honored for her work with Snohomish County public communications and for outstanding communication around the disaster of the Oso slide and the Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting.
EdCC named a ‘Fit-Friendly Worksite’
The American Heart Association has named Edmonds Community College a Gold Fit-Friendly Worksite for the fourth time, for creating a culture of wellness in the workplace, which puts the college among an elite group of awardees for this initiative. Edmonds CC was honored for recognizing the importance of a healthy workplace and for its support of employees.
Snohomish chamber to celebrate dentist office opening
Representatives from the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce, Snohomish Mayor Karen Guzak and Chamber president Rod Ashley will join Dr. Amit Shah for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the recently opened Snohomish Modern Dentistry office, located at 1001 Ave. D, Suite 101, Snohomish. The public is welcome to attend this event.
