SEASIDE, Ore. — Police have accused two men of using hammers to beat a man in Seaside.
The Daily Astorian reports the Seaside police announced the arrests Monday after an investigation into the Feb. 20 attack.
Police said they learned of the attack when they were called to a local hospital, which reported the victim had a serious head injury.
The victim has not been identified. He has since been released.
Police said they arrested Kevin Michael Burnham, 25, of Seaside, and Joshua Lee Fitch, 23, of Longview, Washington, on attempted murder and other charges. They were booked Friday and are to appear in court March 13.
The police didn’t describe a motive for the attack.
