Taste: The Snohomish Wine Festival is on Saturday, with two different sessions. The first is from 1 to 4 p.m. and the second from 6 to 9 p.m. A VIP ticket gets you in from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. More than 20 wineries will be featured, most from Washington. Literary fun: Enjoy an entertaining and literary evening, all while helping out the Everett Library’s Summer Reading Program at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. There will be a performance of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Book-It. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Food from some of Everett’s favorite restaurants and a cash bar will be available. Come dressed as your favorite literary character. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door. Dinosaur Day: Check out dino activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Burke Museum on the University of Washington campus. See what we can learn out about dinosaurs through their poop, teeth, bones and more. Talk to Burke paleontologists about their latest find, 10-foot legs of the duck-billed dino Edmontosaurus. Included in regular museum admission: $7.50-$10; kids 4 and under free. There will be a free talk at 7 p.m. Saturday with Mary Schweitzer, whose discoveries about dinosaur tissues, blood and DNA expanded understanding of what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur.
